Who Should Attend
This qualification is aimed at new starters, existing staff and as a refresher. The Health and Safety Act 1974 and the Manual Handling Operation Regulations 1992 require each employer to provide adequate supervision and training while undertaking manual handling risk assessments. This course does not qualify learners to undertake risk assessments independently, however it will provide them with the knowledge to assist the employer in completing the risk assessment and supports employers in demonstrating their commitment to their legal obligations.
